Eight short pieces succinctly summarize the spirit of dark musical surrealism, rooted in the neo-folk tradition, yet long ago evolved into the realm of avant-garde sound collage. The lyrics of René Daumal and Evgeniy Golovin inevitably permeate the album with their dark intellectual charm. All that remains is to pour another glass, press the “repeat” button, and look into the Moon's face once again.
As always with Majdanek Waltz, many underground artists took part in the recording, incl. Olga Roshchina (Krol), Sergei Pakhomov (Pahom), Sergei Vasiliev (Mad Pierrot Cabaret), Alexander Timofeev (Daite Tank (!)), and others.
