Guitarist and musical organizer Dominique Répécaud has a perfect feel for freerock improvisation, which he has proven especially with his tribal, shape-shifting ensemble Soixante Etages, which often works with sound collages, his former offshoot, the power-trio Etage 34, or the super-quartet Rekmazladzep, featuring saxophonist Daunik Lazro, bastrombonist and trumpeter Thierry Madiot and guitarist Camel Zekri. His most recent activities also include the duo Les Massifs De Fleurs with sound magician and extravagant singer Frédéric Le Junter.
