Debut album by X, the 1980 Los Angeles punk landmark produced by Ray Manzarek of The Doors, with the twin vocals of John Doe and Exene Cervenka. Remastered by Jason Ward for the 2019 Fat Possum reissue.
Big Beat From Badsville by The Cramps, released 6 June 2013, includes the following tracks: "It Thing Hard-On", "Sheena's In A Goth Gang", "Monkey With Your Tail", "Super Goo" and more. This version of Big Beat From Badsville comes as a 1xLP.
Originally released on Big Beat in 1986, “A Date With Elvis” is a stone-cold Cramps classic that has never been out of print and introduced generations of music fans to the Cramps' unique musical voodoo A return to the racks for our much-loved orange vinyl pressing This is a date you simply cannot miss
Released in 1983 after a lengthy court battle with IRS Records, Smell of Female originally contained just the first six songs. These, plus out-of-control ad-lib freakouts “Beautiful Gardens” and “She Said” (previously omitted due to legal restrictions) were recorded live at New Yorkʼs famous Peppermint Lounge. There is nothing like the sound of The Cramps, and this set distills that cross of swamp water, moonshine and nitro down to a dangerous and unstable musical substance, captured live like a…
Featuring an over-the-top live set from Down Under, RockNReelinInAucklandNewZealandXXX was recorded at the 100th show of The Cramps’ 1986 Date With Elvis Tour. The album was originally released incognito in cahoots with Ace Records in 1987 as a fake “limited-edition import” bootleg LP, and was intended to compete with the glut of unofficial Cramps recordings. The woman you hear screaming throughout the first half actually fainted when she stopped screaming!
Included alongside other classic tune…
"From its word-playful title (Deceit / This Heat – say it aloud and twist your tongue) to the lyrics densely written on the back cover, This Heat's second album from 1981 is much more verbally direct than their largely instrumental 1979 debut. The group had things on their minds and statements they wanted to make.
"'The first album was about the Dread, but dread not really understood yet,' says Charles Hayward. 'With the second album, we were starting to understand what made us afraid. The whole…
Fiends of Dope Island is the eighth and final studio album (and 13th album overall) by the Cramps. The Cramps resurrected their own record label Vengeance Records to release the album in 2003. It was recorded in Hollywood in August 2002. It was self-produced by Poison Ivy and Lux Interior. The album takes its title from the 1959 film, Fiend of Dope Island. "Fissure of Rolando" was dedicated to John Agar (1921-2002).
On Look Mom No Head!, The Cramps double down on their psychobilly sleaze, tossing rockabilly, garage punk and B‑movie kink into a Hollywood acid bath. Lux Interior and Poison Ivy steer 14 songs of gutter glamour and mutant bravado that sound like a jukebox possessed in a roadside strip club at the end of the world.
Recorded at Ardent Studios in October 1977 as part of the sessions that birthed Gravest Hits, the tracks on Gravest Gravy were contained on seven 1/4 inch reels. The tapes were transferred by Brian Kehew, the tracks were selected for inclusion by Henry Rollins, engineered by Ian MacKaye and Don Zientara at Inner Ear Studios and mastered by Pete Lyman at Infrasonic Sound.
Originators of a mutant and primal, stripped-down sound with its roots in the primordial soup of Rock 'n Roll - The Cramps cra…

Original Dutch edition on Polydor/EG of the surprising first album of the renewed, both musically and in the line-up, KC of the early 1980's, released in 1981.
Original Italian edition on Polydor/EG of the great second album of the renewed, both musically and in the line-up, KC of the early 1980's, released in 1982.
Sex-classic Stay Sick! was originally released in 1990 and features more of the dark side of rockabilly in a jugular vein. The opener, a hopped-up cover of obscure Sun Records tune “Bop Pills,” proves that rumors of amphetamine usage by the original Memphis rockabilly cats was not exaggerated, and sets the pace for the rest of the album.
Hog-wild covers of “Shortninʼ Bread” and “Muleskinner Blues” probably have the original writers dancing on their graves, and The Cramps’ version of the perverse…
2026 stock “Challenge” was released in 1981 on Bootleg, a record label born inside a record store in Pavia with the same name. “Challenge” keeps the original and uncompromising punk attitude alive. 3 groups: No Suicide (from the Udine province), Mercenary God (from Gemona), No Submission (from Treviso), all sick children of the industrious, rich and Christian Democratic north-eastern part of Italy.
1978 split LP on Deptford Fun City with live recordings by one of the most seminal and experimental punk bands shared with the Gong-related raw space-rock prychedelic group.
