Bvdub

Bvdub is the main alias of Brock Van Wey, an American producer of ambient and ambient techno born in 1974. He grew up in Livermore, in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he played deep house and ambient sets at raves in the early 1990s, and he moved to China in 2001. He is known for long pieces built from layered sound. Van Wey began producing in 2006, and the first Bvdub album, Strength in Solitude, appeared on 2600 Records in 2007, the year he founded his own label Quietus Recordings. Under his own name he released White Clouds Drift On And On (echospace, 2009).
