Chihei Hatakeyama

Chihei Hatakeyama is a Japanese ambient musician born in 1978 in Kanagawa Prefecture, who grew up in Fujisawa and lives in Tokyo. He builds slow, drone-based pieces by processing recordings of guitar, piano and vibraphone on a laptop, and he is known for a large catalogue that began with Minima Moralia, released by the Chicago label Kranky in 2006.
