Claudio Rocchetti

Claudio Rocchetti, born in Bolzano in 1976, came out of the straight-edge hardcore scene and went on to explore the many realms of noise. He played his self-described destructive DJ sets within Sonic Belligeranza, the group, label and collective that shook up the Italian underground at the turn of the 2000s, and was a member of 3/4HadBeenEliminated with Stefano Pilia and Valerio Tricoli. His own work is now the composition of cinematic musical landscapes built from rare old records, dusty analogue instruments and objects: old radios, customised turntables, gramophones, tape.
