D'incise

D'incise is the working name of Laurent Peter, a Swiss experimental musician from Geneva. He does not settle on one instrument, using software, field recordings, objects, percussion and harmonium, and more recently analog electronic sources sampled and rearranged for loudspeaker concerts. His music favours reduction, slowness and close work on simple processes. He runs the Insub label with Cyril Bondi. With Bondi, d'incise has played in the duo Diatribes and in Karst, and in the large Insub Meta Orchestra and the Insub.8tet. He is also a founding member of the group La Tène.
