Daniele Lombardi (1946-2017) was an Italian pianist, composer, and musicologist of extraordinary versatility. A leading authority on Futurist music, he reconstructed and performed works by Luigi Russolo and other early avant-garde pioneers while creating his own highly original compositions. His output spanned solo piano works, multimedia installations, electronic music, and large-scale projects involving multiple pianos.
