Enrico Coniglio

Enrico Coniglio is an Italian guitarist, field recordist and sound artist, born in Venice in 1975 and still based there. Trained as an urban planner, he makes ambient and drone music from guitar, field recordings and electronics, and much of his work deals with the Venetian lagoon and the way its places lose their identity as the territory changes. Coniglio's Areavirus (Topofonie Vol. 1) featured guests such as Arve Henriksen and Hans-Joachim Roedelius. Sea Cathedrals (Silentes) features Manuel P. Cecchinato and Massimo Liverani.
