Under The Snow

Under The Snow is an Italian duo of Gianluca Favaron (electronics) and Stefano Gentile (guitar) working in ambient and electroacoustic music. Their pieces combine field recordings, instruments and processed sound, often blurring where the sounds come from. Favaron has described the project as more ambient than his other work, with a mood that looks back to the 1980s. Their split with Enrico Coniglio, Dialogue One (Silentes, 2011), holds their 28-minute piece Resonant Cuts.
