Gianni Ferrio

La Poliziotta
*In process of stocking* Welcome to another sonic treat from the Four Flies 45s series. This 7" combines for the first time ever the two grooviest and sexiest tracks from Gianni Ferrio's score to Steno's detective comedy La poliziotta (The Policewoman), only one of which ("Step by Step") was included in the original (and now very rare and sought-after) 7" released in 1974.Starting the party is the blaxploitation-influenced funk-blues "Rhythm & Sex" on side A, a tune chock-full of killer drum bre…
Quei Disperati Che Puzzano Di Sudore E Di Morte (Original Soundtrack)
Los Desperados was released in 1967, and all that was issued from the soundtrack was two tracks on a 45 rpm single, one track being a vocal by john Balfour and also a short orchestral track on the B side of the record. Balfour has a distinct sounding voice, nearly as unique as that of fellow vocalist Raoul. Versions of the song are repeated throughout the soundtrack and make an appearance on 5 occasions during its duration. The score by Gianni Ferrio, is not a typical example of Italian western …
Il Killer
* 2021 restock, killer price. Last copies * LP 180 Gram. A definite killer from the great Gianni Ferrio – one of his grooviest soundtracks ever, and a set that's filled with lots of mod 60s touches! There's a bit of electric sitar, psychedelia, cool bubbling Hammond, and even some jazzy horn parts that make for nice flourishes over the top – all changing up in cool and different ways from track to track. A 1969 co-production between Cinevic and Rai TV for a mini television series that was aired …
Io, Emmanuelle
* Edition of 300. 2020 Stock * Quartet Records in collaboration with Gruppo Sugar present the premiere CD release of a Gianni Ferrio (The Mysterious Island of Captain Nemo, Vivi o preferiblemente morti, Un dollaro bucato, Tony Arzenta) infectious, classy “Emmanuelle score.”  Io, Emmanuelle (also known as A Man for Emmanuelle) was made in 1969, five years before the first entry of the popular erotic movie – and is in fact have no relation to the famous franchise. This story is actually based on t…
Cinevox Tidbeats
**2CD version** Long coveted by diggers, samplers, and beat makers, library music and film soundtracks have, over the decades, revealed themselves to be one of the great treasure troves of 20th century music. A wonderful, often overlooked world of sound - vast in its breath and endlessly adventurous and unpredictable in the realizations of its creative ambition - there are few veins more remarkable and thrilling than those efforts produced within Italy during the 1960s, '70s, and '80s. We are th…
Tony Arzenta
First 200 on Amber Vinyl. 180 gram audiophile vinyl LP; Gatefold sleeve + movie poster. Just like the first one, also this thirs Spettro reissue is dedicated to the work of the great Gianni Ferrio, well known Italian master, who scored more than fifty original soundtracks other than composing countless of popular songs for star singer Mina. Tony Arzenta (Big Guns) is a 1973 Duccio Tessari giallo film, starring famous French icon Alain Delon and got a good commercial success in the 70s. Alain Del…
La Morte accarezza a Mezzanotte
180 gram audiophile vinyl LP; Gatefold sleeve + movie poster. The first release of Spettro, a new Italian label devoted to soundtracks and libraries. A giallo film from 1972 directed by Luciano Ercoli, the movie deals with a taboo film like drugs and the LSD hallucinations of the female actress are perfectly underlined by Ferrio sublime cinematic score. Lots of spare spacey arrangements, with doomy keyboards, muffled horn riffs, and even some cool electronic harpsichord, the soundtrack offers a …
La Poliziotta
A dream that has become reality: one of the best and among the most sought after soundtracks by Gianni Ferrio finally comes back to life in LP form. The original record has always been one of the rarest of the entire cult RCA SP series, considered an absolute must-have for the Italian groove hunters of the day: Jazz-funk texture with touches of blaxploitation, b-boy breaks, flipped out hammond, flashes of bossa and the vocal stylings of the unmistakable Edda Dell’Orso. The Four Flies issu…
Una Farfalla Con Le Ali Insanguinate
Lucky warehouse find, few copies available of the legendary (and terrific) soundtrack to Duccio Tessari\'s excellent giallo from 1971, The Bloodstained Butterfly. \"Fantastic! Easy Tempo scores again with this beautiful rerelease/repackaging of Gianni Ferrio\'s lost score for the film Una Farfalla Con Le Ali Insanguinate. The music has lots of spare spooky keyboards, with a slow building sound that\'s similar to Francis Lai\'s best soundtrack work, and a warm wash of sound that\'s very si…
