Heiner Goebbels places the bagpipes in the mountains, then abruptly in an industrial landscape, all the while quoting Bach, while Philip Glass' music uses the repetition of 5 notes served by continuous breathing. Finally, Eliane Radigue brings the instrument closer to intimacy.
