Ingebrigt Håker Flaten

Ingebrigt Håker Flaten is a Norwegian double bassist, born on 23 September 1971 in Oppdal, who works in jazz and free jazz. He studied jazz at the Trondheim Music Conservatory and then moved to Oslo. He is best known as a member of The Thing with Mats Gustafsson and Paal Nilssen-Love, and of the quintet Atomic. Ingebrigt Håker Flaten also played in The Trio with Petter Wettre, in Scorch Trio with Raoul Björkenheim and Paal Nilssen-Love, and with Ken Vandermark, Joe McPhee and Bugge Wesseltoft.
