Kangding Ray
Kangding Ray is the alias of David Letellier, a French electronic musician, DJ and producer from Normandy who lives in Berlin. Trained as an architect, he started producing around 2002 and became known for dense, carefully built techno and electronic albums on Raster-Noton and Stroboscopic Artefacts, and later for film music. Kangding Ray took his name from the Chinese town of Kangding, where he happened to be when his label asked for an artist name.
