Kate Carr
Kate Carr is an Australian sound artist and field recordist based in London, after a period in Belfast. Her work spans composition, performance and installation, and it looks at how places sound and how people share public space, often using everyday objects such as bird horns, watering cans and bubble wrap. She also runs the experimental label Flaming Pines. Carr completed a PhD at the CRiSAP research centre of the London College of Communication, where she teaches on the MA in Music Production.
