Lieven Martens

Lieven Martens is a Belgian composer who first became known for ambient, new age influenced records as Dolphins Into The Future. He has since worked under his own name and as Lieven Martens Moana, making a form of programme music from field recordings, electronics and written parts, often paired with text and photographs. He runs the Antwerp label Edições CN. Between 2009 and 2012 Lieven Martens released several Dolphins Into The Future albums on Not Not Fun, Fonal and NNA Tapes, and Canto Arquipélago (2012) on Underwater Peoples.
