Ora

Ora is a drone and ambient collective formed by Andrew Chalk and Darren Tate, with Jonathan Coleclough, Lol Coxhill, Colin Potter and Daisuke Suzuki taking part at various times. The group's early recordings circulated on cassettes issued on its own Ora label in the first half of the 1990s, and later work appeared on a range of small experimental labels. Ora's cassettes include Approach to Zero (1993), Orange Tales (1994, with Lol Coxhill) and Isle, the last reissued on LP by Three Poplars in 2002. Radio Daze appeared as a CD-R on Gnome Records in 1999.
