Ralf Wehowsky
Ralf Wehowsky is a German composer of electroacoustic music who also works as RLW. He came out of the German post-industrial scene of the early 1980s as a member of the group P16.D4 and a founder of the Selektion collective and label. His work centres on transforming and recomposing recorded sound, very often in exchanges of material with other musicians. Ralf Wehowsky made his first recordings with the group, first called Permutative Distortion and then P.D., which released the double LP Nichts Niemand Nirgends Nie! as P16.D4 in the mid-1980s. He made his solo debut as RLW with Acht in 1992.
