Green Zone is led by the NY based bassist & composer Kato Hideki. The heavy and dark sounding band was named after the US military base in Bagdad and formed by the founding members of the legendary group, Ground-Zero. Luc Ferrari's composition Archives sauvées des eaux for two DJs was premiered in Japan and performed by the composer himself and Otomo Yoshihide at SuperDeluxe in Tokyo in 2003. This CD is a live recording of their first and the only performance, before the French composer passed away in 2005.
