Live At Kraak Fest 2011
25 copies limited edition. 2024 stock. Lo-fi but still fantastic documentation of a 2011 concert by Arthur Doyle in a duo with drummer Steve Noble. Doyle sounds pretty great to me here. The top end of his sax playing is less powerful than it once was, but a lot of his magic was always derived from his sheer otherness, and there's enough of that here to go around. Noble works hard to provide the right rhythmic racket for whatever's going down, and this is some swank soundtrackery for long drives.…
Primavera Estate Autunno Inverno
An absolutely stunning effort from one of the great journeymen of Italian experimentalism, Riccardo Sinigaglia here with painter Mario De Leo in the early '80s. This is electroacoustic music at its absolute, vibrant best.

Misure
** Recycled Tape, Xeroxed Art, Limited Edition of 36 Numbered Copies ** In the last few years several italian artists started to go deeper in tape music exploration. That's the case of Rome-based Cristiano Carosi. Misure presents the introspective psychedelic side of it. A collage of different sources such as surreal words, altered voices coming from who knows where, and clumsy synthesis-produced sounds that melt down together in a juicy lo-fi sauce (remarked by the straight-on-cassette recordin…
Sinergia Elettronica
Sinergia Elettronica, the conjunction between Jooklo and Metabolismus orbiting around the museum of weirdness of Degenfeld (Germany), had always been characterized by instant and unpredictable music, therefore their releases being put out as flashes of the moment, as sparkling and quick. Not the case of this one, the first recording appearing on vinyl, which has been sitting under an old piano for a few years before actually seeing the light of day. Three long pieces of prog-delic angular abstra…
Energia Nuvola
Restocked, sold out at source, very last copies around....Long awaited first work on vinyl for magic sound artist Francesco Cavaliere. Live
Astounding LP documenting a high-quality live recording of a performance in Vittorio Veneto (Italy) in July 2012 by Virginia Genta (Jooklo etc), David Vanzan (Jooklo etc) and Chris Corsano. With Genta on tenor & soprano saxophones and clarinet, Vanzan on electric guitar and home-made semi-modular synthesiser, and Corsano on percussion, the trio combine their "informal creative sounds into a set of abstract cosmic-punk improvisations". Pressed on clear, marbled-yellow 180g vinyl and housed in han…
Spiraltendenz
After ten years from the date of its recording (2003), this surreal jam  between kaleidoscopic Stuttgart's collective Metabolismus and evergreen American improviser Eugene Chadbourne, is finally turning into a wax. You'll have the cheerful feeling of listening to Sun Ra jamming with Stockhausen while together on a trip to Stonedland! What's on this record is basically high lysergic psychedelia meeting crazy free jazz,  with some spared funky grooves and fragmented tapes manipulations. You'll be…
Freakedelic
Jewel of transcendental future music arising from the Jooklo's universe. Including some deep synthesizer's lines, charming flutes, ethnic winds and tenor saxophone's shimmers, besides a multitude of scattered shamanic percussions (bells, gongs, bongos, etc). This epic psychedelic free-form session dipped in a mystic vortex was recorded on a night of March 2008, and it's been resting in space until now. Ultra-limited run with silkscreened covers with metallic effects.
The Moon Of The Sky
"Finally! After two years of waiting and warming up, "The Moon of the Sky" sees the light. This fantastic jam was recorded live on concert on May 5th 2008 at the Helderberg House in Albany (upstate New York) and it's a pearl of psychedelic rock, full of stoned guitars' layers. The line-up of the astounding band for this gig features four guitarists (Jackson, Erik, Johnny, Paula), electric bass (Eric H), drums (Phil), and of course Llana on the xylophone. Who knows what these folks do, knows what…
Where jazz has gone?
New Jooklo finnish formation, this time with great guitarist Topias Tiheasalo joining the compact trio of saxophonist Virginia Genta, drummer David Vanzan and bassist Tero Kemppainen, whom have been working together for the past three years now. The first time that the four played together was for a live concert in Turku, Finland, in 2009: meeting up just few minutes before the show started, and immediately throwing out a mighty jam of superfast free jazz. After one year, they met again for a sh…
Cymbals
restocked, but very few available...LP art edition of 310 numbered copies, recorded on 1973, NEVER previously issued on vinyl, this is a jewel from saturn: try to find it in the cosmo if you can. This  albums originally intended for release by Impulse! in the early 1970s,  Cymbals is very a much a continuation of efforts like The Night of the Purple Moon, with an overall extended sax workouts, and built out with plenty of welcoming grooves.  An highlight from a fertile period when Sun Ra and his…
Sete
First release for the italian duo (Alessandro De Zan, Riccardo Mazza), recorded and assembled during one year, giving as result the deepest sound ever. Beautiful and fresh vibes coming out from acoustic guitars, percussions, flutes, voices and birds' field recordings, in five fine composed tunes spacing between Amazzonia and Africa, flying on the wings of perfect bliss. This is going to be particularly appreciated from those who love '70s brazilian psych such as Lula Cortez, Zè Ramalho, Stenio M…
Pressure
just wild and free. virginia genta (golden jooklo age, etc.) on tenor saxophone and andrew barker exploding drums. paste-on cover art. edition of only 115 numbered copies.
Ritual
gorgeous LP of this obscure live recording, an ethereal vortex of electric moon-sounding mandolin and slow bass (luca massolin), spacy keyboards (david vanzan), primitive astral soprano sax and voice (virginia genta). atmospheres for the end of the earthly. handmade collage cover art. limited edition of 280 numbered copies.
Birthday Session
"The Birthday Session features the wild burning sound of the two crossed tenor and soprano saxophones of Sami Pekkola and Virginia Genta, alongside with Tero Kemppainen on a deeply blues double-bass and David Vanzan on exploding free drums. Recorded in Helsinki after ten days of tour around Finland (right on the night of Genta's birthday) and first fruit of the Jooklo finnish brotherhood, this session turned to be a deep exploration of the purifying fire that brings to complete and sublime liber…
