Tip! Masonna is the solo noise project of Yamazaki Mazo, who, along with Merzbow and Emergency Staircase, has earned the respect of the entire world as an iconic figure of Japanoise. In 2002, Masonna, Christine 23 Onna, and Space Machine, the three units Yamazaki Mazo is involved with, released three albums simultaneously as the "Yamazaki Maso 15th Anniversary Freakout Triplex Series" to celebrate the 15th anniversary of their activities. The albums of these three units, Masonna, Christine 23 Onna, and Space Machine, were remastered by Soichiro Nakamura and released on analog vinyl for the first time! The latest liner notes written by Satoru Higashi Seto of Forever Records are enclosed (common to all three titles).

This is the second album of Space Machine, an "analog electronic space sound project" started by Mazo Yamazaki in 2000, entitled "Illusion and Fluctuation. The album is a tapestry of future retro electronic sounds woven endlessly in an endless space, pursuing only the trippy and spacy electronic sounds that have been a part of Mazona since around 1998. The pure electronic sounds, with their mysterious interplay of inorganic and organic sounds, evoke the various lights and shadows of the universe, making this a superb piece of ambient music.
