A companion single to the beloved 2x10“ vinyl compilation series The Tape Masters that keeps unearthing rare groove treasures and unreleased recordings from the vaults of film music extraordinaire Peter Thomas. Exclusive on this single and for the first time on vinyl ever is the rare German language version of „Black Power“, sung by a certain Donna Gaines. Later of course known as Donna Summer, the tune is her first recording as a solo artist at just 20 years old. It is also her first appearance on screen – prominently featured in the TV mini series 11 Uhr 20.

Film and compilations used the English language version and the mono mix of the German version was only recently discovered in Peter Thomas' tape vaults. Another vocal highlight from a German crime triologyis Senta Berger's cheeky-sultry „Vergiss mich, wenn du kannst“ (Babeck, 1968). The song is based on the series' title theme and performed by the singer in her role as a mysterious, „vamp“ type bar manager.
