Ciccio & 2mo

A bold exploration of sound and emotion, Bouc and Rouages marks the new full-length release from Ciccio and 2mo, a duo known for pushing the limits of modern experimental music while staying rooted in raw human storytelling. The record weaves together textures of electronic production, haunting melodies, and organic instrumentation, resulting in a sonic landscape that feels both intimate and vast. Bouc and Rouages is not simply an album, but a narrative of duality—light and shadow, motion and stillness, fragmentation and connection. The title itself evokes imagery of tangled gears and wild energy, reflecting the push and pull that drives the music forward. Each track unfolds as a journey, with layers of rhythm and tone that shift unexpectedly, guiding the listener through moments of dissonance into passages of fragile beauty.

Ciccio and 2mo’s unique chemistry is at the heart of the record. Their collaboration thrives on contrast: one grounding the compositions in pulse and texture, the other opening wide spaces for melody, improvisation, and emotional resonance. The result is a dialogue between two strong creative voices, speaking through the vehicle of sound. At once visceral and cerebral, Bouc and Rouages invites listeners to inhabit a space where the mechanical meets the organic. It is a record that refuses to stay in one place—part avant-garde, part contemporary electronica, part field-recorded intimacy—yet always deeply human.
