Edition of 100, hand-numbered edition. CCC announces the release of Divine Visions, a carefully curated collection of material by and about Ira Cohen (1935-2011), the elusive Beat poet, photographer, and underground cultural figure. Following successful presentations at New York's Bowery Poetry Club, The Bunker, and Amsterdam's Ruigoord during the Fiery Tongues Festival, this intimate publication brings together rare texts and images in a modest but essential format.

This photocopied chapbook, assembled by Ian MacFadyen - one of the few genuine Cohen and William Burroughs scholars - contains 32 pages of previously unpublished material that sheds new light on Cohen's nomadic life and visionary practice. MacFadyen's research reveals connections between Cohen's time in Kathmandu, his Mylar Chamber experiments, and his role in the underground networks that connected beat poetry to psychedelic culture. Ira Cohen operated in the spaces between established scenes - too mystical for the academics, too literary for the hippies, too experimental for the mainstream. His work with the Mylar Chamber created some of the most otherworldly portraits of the 1960s counterculture, while his poetry wove together Eastern spirituality and street wisdom in ways that still feel radical today. Like the overlooked musical artifacts CCC regularly champions, Cohen's legacy exists largely in fragments - scattered publications, rare photographs, and the memories of those who encountered his singular presence. This chapbook gathers some of those fragments.
