Original Italian edition on Fontana of the 1974 classic and popularizing album of traditional Celtic music.

condition (record/cover): NM / EX+

Alan Stivell had already made the Celtic harp a rock instrument with Renaissance de la harpe celtique and filled the Olympia when he recorded E Langonned, an album about his father's village in Brittany: songs, laments and dances of the Langonnet area played by Stivell with a small acoustic group, no electric band, the harp and the bombarde and voice. It is his most local record and one of his most durable, the sound of a musician going back to the source after the source had made him famous.

The Breton revival of the seventies is one of the roots of what Europe later called world music, and Stivell was its engine; this album shows the engine idling, beautifully. French Fontana pressing.
