** 2021 Stock ** Jérôme Poret (born 1969, lives and works in Paris) explores the event-driven and material dimensions of sound. His artistic universe, inscribed in the so-called extreme musical practices (industrial, metal, noise) and the electro-acoustics aesthetics, makes it the material of an interaction with the places and architectures invested.

It happened in a former brewery that became a place of art. Place embodying a know-how, today dedicated to the representation, the brewery became an image and was inscribed in a new thickness.

The time of a brew, by the alchemy of the beer, several time-spaces and narratives have collided to make a sign of themselves. Forms were born from the meeting between friendships, musical and artisanal practices whose processes converge and enter in sympathy.

Thought as a cycle, the project was punctuated by the elaboration of a beer created specifically for the place, in collaboration with Carole and Franck Bellon of the Atelier de la Bière. During the exhibition, the habits of the place adopted a floating temporality, linked to this phenomenon of transmutation. The full tank and its emissaries welcomed the public for the opening. A video and sound recording device accompanied the fermentation. Then a period of storage at room temperature allowed the beer to reach its full potential. At the end of the exhibition, a sale-tasting and a concert were organized around the bottles produced, both multiple and edited work.

Conceived with the proceeds from the sale of the beer, the record results from this elaboration. The hollow moments of the exhibition, such as the bottling and the brewing, were recorded separately from the rest. They provide sound material rearranged to produce a trace and a possible archive of the exhibition, but also to evoke/keep in memory a know-how and its gestures.

La Teinturière de la Lune is the last beer to be created by Carole and Franck. The Atelier de la Bière ceased its activity at the beginning of 2020.
