Original edition on the microscopic Telesound label of the 1983 circus library album by Umiliani in disguise as Tusco.

condition (record/cover): EX / EX

Tusco was Piero Umiliani, the name taken from his Tuscan birthplace, and Luna Park was one of three albums he issued under it on his Telesound imprint in 1982. The theme is the fairground: Clowns, Entrano i gladiatori, Batticuore, Samba Rhapsody, carnival music as filtered through a man who had spent two decades scoring comedies and now owned a room full of synthesizers.

The result is closer to Nino Rota on a Polymoog than to library filler, and the darker cuts (Sinistro carillon, Mutazioni) are as unsettling as anything he wrote for the giallo cycle. Original Telesound pressing, one of the Umiliani private-label records that survived in tiny numbers.
