After departing from Embryo, Setz and Hartwig featured on Roman Bunka's debut, and Hartwig also played with Guru Guru and a side project of Roland Schaeffer (of Guru Guru and Brainstorm) which was named Roland und die Dadadogs. They then established their own project Die Wand An. A band that took every influence possible, from techno-pop, via punk, ethnic, jazz, and ????, through to pure noise avant-garde. They were more than just a band though… their ‘concerts’ were more like spontaneous theatre acts, with action painting and all kinds of unpredictable things happening on stage.
