Corviria released only two LPs for Edizioni Leonardi: Psyco Analysis in 1977 and Descriptive in 1980, the latter on the Titian Records label. Both are among the most obscure titles in Italian library music, and the people behind the name can only be traced to Luigi Bergonzi and Vittoria Corona.
Descriptive takes the dark electronic sound of Psyco Analysis somewhere new. It opens with Evil's Suite, a four-part mini-suite that heads into kraut and progressive rock territory, continues with the abstract, unsettling Suspence Effect One and Suspence Effect Two and with The Chase, and ends with a run of lighter, more conventional pieces, from Albatros to Mechanic Roundabout, that mostly recall Tangerine Dream in the same years.
This is the first reissue ever, by Redi Edizioni, faithful to the original edition.
Black vinyl.
