Musiche per un Telefilm was released in 1970 on Leo Records and was the second title in Redi Edizioni's series of library reissues, remastered from the original master. It brings together Antonio Riccardo Luciani and Paolo Renosto in nineteen short themes written for television.
The mood keeps shifting, from tension and anguish (Ipnosi, Angoscia Infantile, Incubo Infantile) to lighter, playful moments (Il Mago, Cabaret, Slow di Monica), as if following a TV drama from one scene to the next.
Luciani, composer and keyboard player, was one of the most prolific figures in Italian television and film music: his Chanson Balladée (1976) was the theme of RAI's L'Almanacco del Giorno for fifteen years, and he is best remembered for Tecnica di un Colpo di Stato (1978). Renosto, composer, conductor, lyricist and pianist, made synchronization records under the name Lesiman and was one of the pioneers of library music.
