Parajekt

On Parajekt, Parajekt construct a world where studio wizardry and performance become indistinguishable. Using drum machines, samplers, modular synths, and effects, the duo crafts each track through meticulous layering and a second round of dub-inspired mixing. This approach yields a sonic architecture influenced by electronic beat music, musique concrète, and noise—capturing every nuanced detail onto tape for a strikingly precise sound. Parajekt’s music not only brings electronic composition to the foreground but also transforms the recording process into an evolving stage. With this release, Hammer and Schellander deliver a dynamic record that stands as a testament to innovation in electronic music, blurring boundaries between structure and spontaneity.
