Eleh

Eleh is an American project devoted to sustained tones from analog and modular synthesizers. It began in 1999 and for years gave out no information about who was behind it, leaving the records to speak; in 2020 John Brien, who runs Important Records, said on a podcast that the project is his. Important has issued many of the records since 2006, and further albums have appeared on Touch, among them Location Momentum (2010), and on Taiga. The pieces work on low frequencies and on the slow beating between close pitches.
