Deutsch's masterful engineering elevates the hydrophone captures, transforming the subtle vibrations of water into a meditative soundscape that evokes both geological timelessness and profound inner calm. Far from mere ambiance, Springs is a sonic pilgrimage, inviting listeners to attune to the planet's hidden rhythms. A cornerstone of electroacoustic exploration, it remains a vital document of Oliveros's lifelong quest to dissolve boundaries between human perception and the natural world.
