Almøst Silent is the alias of G.Teixeira, a multi-faceted sound artist based in France. ‘Undisclosed Fields Vol.1’ marks his debut release on Healing Sound Propagandist which encompasses eight movements, along with six lovely reworks to accompany the album as a whole. Undisclosed Fields Vol.1 is a densely textural affair that explores multi-sound illustrations with an array of consonant forms and patterns of fleetingly beautiful melodies. The sharply focused efforts of these movements are truly gripping, albeit in a gentle and heartbreakingly tender way. Each sound, layer, and note has a very specific purpose in these recordings which ultimately results in an incredible testament of lush, aural tones and mesmerizing beauty.
