With recordings from the first half of the '80s, "wir triumphieren" ("we will triumph") is more than just another archival release, as it presents one of the most extraordinary chapters in the history of west-german wave/industrial/synth, i.e. experimental neue deutsche welle. hoist your ears to 80 min of formerly unreleased casio/synth/drum computer experiments recorded on 4-track cassette by a bunch of boys, aged between 9 and 15, from the outskirts of hamburg. the group of youngsters was led by the schoolboy felix kubin (whose early "teenage tapes" were released on a-musik, skipp and minimal wave) who also founded the grotesk cassette label at his parent's home in bergedorf. the "kinderbandszene" ("children's band scene") tape compiles neurotic, bizarre and mindblowing tunes by die egozentrischen 2 (the egocentrical 2 - remember the awesome lp on was soll das?), der leichenwäscher von boberg (the corpse washer of boberg), universalanschluss (universal connection a.k.a. felix and his younger brother max), intensive styroporsymbole (intensive styrofoam symbols) and some more musical treasures recorded between 1982 and 1985. mastering by felix kubin and istari lasterfahrer, drawings by felix kubin. limited edition of 200 copies, it comes with an inlay and download code.
