Voices, An Acousmatic Trip (CD)
Starting from the end of 2022, as part of an urban regeneration project through artistic experimentation, I recorded the sounds of the industrial area of Bari but also the voices of the elderly and children. Over time the sounds (human voices but also the voices of machinery transport and non-human nature) began to mix in the memory and under the action of the imagination.

The term ‘acousmatics’ refers to the tradition which tells us that the Greek philosopher Pythagoras gave his lectures from behind a curtain, whereby visual information was withdrawn off the screen and the audience could concentrate on listening. Listening to acousmatic music is not a static process as if the listener is aware of something hidden behind such a curtain.
