Whipped By Noise
Tip! Following individual releases on labels such as Satatuhatta, Total Black, and Narcolepsia, two of harsh noise’s current flagbearers split forces for their debut appearance on Tribe Tapes.
Perfume
First released in 2008 by Bare Wire Technologies. Source sounds for this album come from a (circa 1900) electro-shock therapy machine converted into a synthesizer. Cassette inserts smell of perfume.
A Roll Of The Dice
Broken noise in the esoteric tradition, inspired by Antonin Artaud. Zip-bag packaging with several inserts printed on hi-quality color stock.

Slit Throats / Ruptured
Tip! American carnage of the highest order from two of the best.
Institutionalised (Extended)
An hallucinating journey into sickness conceived by our ally from down under, T.G. Cranium. Half an hour of everflowing morbid visions and bestial devastations, manic highs and heavy lows. Beaten into submission by Erik Nystrand & mastered by Danny Costa. Ecstastic lobotomy noise.
Waxed In Venom
Tip! "There’s something out there, past the alleyway in the auto salvage yard. It’s hard to hear at first. It’s hidden behind the sound of a train derailing. Sliding. Sparks flying. Colliding into a boarded up burnt out building. It’s a filthy possum screeching from inside a burning dumpster. It’s a floating, bloated apparition of a face screaming into a metal drum. It’s an AM radio playing while you’re taking your tenth hit of nitrous. It’s all you regret. It’s the bruised arm from a blackout s…
MONOAkuma
*2023 stock* "I think the first time I heard Merzbow must have been in 1994. I was a compulsive cassette trader back then and I was sent a tape from a fanzine editor I traded with in the USA. It had two long form pieces on it that just said Merzbow//Noise. I remember at the time not really knowing what to make of it. It was effortlessly deep and aggressive, but also very emotive and almost lyrical in the way the waves of sound would erupt and decay. In those days it wasn’t so easy to discover in…
Ramraiding Thee Abyss
*2023 reissue. 300 copies limited edition* “Ramraiding thee Abyss" is both a split and a collaboration LP between three units born out of the extreme electronic and experimental music network. The result of a 15 year long alliance turned into aural assault, blending the three projects’ different styles into a celebration of the chaos, the confusion and the uncertainty, we witness on a daily basis in this ever changing world. This record features, mostly, new material, including both collaboration…
Suffering and Defiance
*199 copies limited edition* Brand new album by Jonathan Canady (Deathpile). As Jonathan says: the album is all instrumental heavy analog electronics, inspired by albums like "Sickness Report" by Atrax Morgue and "Menses" by MB... Aseptic and chirurgical sounds in best Old School Industrial, P/E tradition by one of the US masters in the genre. First 8 tracks in the CD was suppsed to be the only ones in "Suffering and Defiance". But 2 long tracks from "Present Shock" Canady's digital-only release…
The Spectacle of Ravishing Our Maidens
CD reissue of one of my personal favorite releases in the Macro discography. Lovingly ripped directly from my own copy of the cassette version released in 1995, and remastered in house. This release deserves the reissue treatment because it is easily some of the best material to come from the original duo of Joe Roemer and Rodger Stella...perfectly capturing the 90's Americanoise sound at it's raunchiest. It's an honor to be able to put "The Spectacle of Ravishing Our Maidens" back in circulatio…
Bloody Slumber Party
CD reissue of material that was released on cassette in 1998 and suspended in decades of obscurity, which is a shame because this is arguably some of the most underrated and brutal material ever produced by the project...a true deep cut and essential release for fans of not just Government Alpha but Harsh Noise in general.
Threshold
Noise/noisecore/grindcore/cut-up in unparalleled intensity from Mumma/Wiese with two tracks featuring Jay Randall.
3
Tip! A Phil Blankenship/John Wiese maelstrom at maximum pressure. The duo behind LHD continue their five-year White Gold cycle, unleashing a blistering new cascade of deafening sound, desiccated crumble, and rusted shriek recorded in 2022, featuring over forty minutes of heavy electronics for shredded speakers.
Mechanical Abstraction
A scorching assembly of recordings from Sissy Spacek's 2022 ensemble tour, featuring the first John Wiese solo as Sissy Spacek since 2001 and two sets from the trio of Chris Goudreau/Jay Randall/John Wiese. Jewel case with heavy 28-page booklet.
Live In Hong Kong
Sissy Spacek is known for their extended approach to sound and performance. Founded in 1999, the group (since 2013, primarily a duo of Charlie Mumma and John Wiese) have released a broad range of work, from grindcore to musique concrète, with a considerable gulf of experimentation in between. Their performance at Empty Gallery in Hong Kong and its peripheral documentation is an example of the band’s abstracting style and approach. Recorded on the occasion of Takeshi Murata’s “Infinite Doors” ope…
Space Metalizer
**Limited Edition of 199 copies. Reissue for the first time, this album stands as a testament to Merzbow's artistic vision and his relentless pursuit of pushing the folds of noise. Space Metalizer is a must-listen for enthusiasts of noise music and anyone seeking a transformative and immersive sonic experience. Comes with original cover collage plus a bonus postcard and poster with amazing colored new and old collages by Masami Akita.** Noise music emerged as a distinct genre in the late 20th ce…
Terrarium
Presenting a brand new CD from Hugo Esquinca and Russell Haswell. After several years of collaboration, “Terrarium” is the first in a series of full lengths from these two proper legends. A split release sequenced together as an album, Haswell and Esquinca alternate in their delivery of equally savage sonic material. If you’re here for another tabletop pedal noise CD - this ain’t it. Playback with headphones at a high volume recommended.
At Grnd Zero
This recording comes from a memorable show the band performed during their first (and so far last) tour in France. The concert had been a heavy mass of around 90 minutes, of whom only a part was caught on cassette, as nobody remembered to flip side when it was time. Anyway what got recorded is here, and it's still enough to dig the psychoactive multitude of sound informations Melting Mind delivered in Lyon that night. A hypnotic vortex of multi-layered dimensions. Italo-noise at its best, as in …
