*Edition with 20 pages booklet* One of the earliest German private pressings, from 1969, and one of the most sought-after collectors’ items. Three masters on their instruments. Trikolon is a very gifted trio from Osnabrück. As precursor of Tetragon, they played a very varied and strongly influenced progressive rock. They were influenced by classic and sometimes by blues. Their only LP "Cluster" was already released in 1969. It was edited by themselves in a number of 150 copies. Thus, it had been…
Edition with 20 pages booklet* Sophisticated rock with polyphonic vocals, multi-layered structure and frequent rhythm and tempo changes, in the vein of Gentle Giant and King Crimson. Epidermis were founded in Idstein, Hesse, in 1971, but they soon moved to the regional capital, Wiesbaden. They played some complex s…
Long lost krautrock classic delivering a dynamic, complex combination between fuzzy freak out improvisations (full of Hammond organ and catchy heavy guitar leads) and epic folk arrangements for the flute. Sperrmull formed in 1971 but went through various lineup changes until they recorded this their only album in December of 1972. It was produced by Dieter Dierks and recorded at his studio. Dieter also played some synths on the opening track. A very accomplished essay. Similar to (early) Nosfera…

Reissue of the 1970 krautrock classic. The timing was right: Five years earlier would have been too early, five years later would have been too late. But Annexus Quam from Kamp-Lintfort near Düsseldorf came along with the right music at the right moment. The seven-piece band formed in 1967 as Ambition Of Music; they were what was then called a "beat group." In 1970, working with a local trombone choir led to a dramatic change of direction. Trombone, clarinet, saxophone, scat-like vocals, various…
LP version. 180 gram vinyl; gatefold sleeve. Reissue, originally released in 1969. The band Amon Düül formed in 1967, with music being only one part of their artistic work. In 1969, the albums Paradieswärts Düül and Psychedelic Underground were produced. Reviewers describe them as a "document from the birth of German rock." It was the first krautrock album ever. Even before CAN and Xhol Caravan. Before that, three musicians parted ways with the band and formed Amon Düül II. Amon Düül disbanded i…

** Remastered edition, with new standard glossy jacket ** Originally released in 1974. German trio Sand's first album, Golem, is a legendary work of cosmic psychedelic genius. There is something magical and inexplicable in creation, and Sand absolutely manifest these mysterious phenomena. Storytellers, musicians, shamans, geniuses -- Sand were known, at the end of the '60s, as P.O.T. (Part of Time). Then Sand -- Ludwig Papenberg, his brother Ulrich Papenberg, and Johannes Vester -- developed a m…
CD Edition. Re-release of the original 1974 album by "Timothy Leary!" -- That was "Sternenmädchen" Gille Lettmann's almost breathed closing words on the 1974 album Gilles Zeitschiff, Vol. 1 . That same year, the Cosmic Crew Gille, Dieter Dierks, Jürgen Dollase, Harald Großkopf, and Mythos recorded Vol. 2, but it never came to a release at that time -- let's say: due to circumstances. Until now. Almost 50 years after its recording, Zeitschiff 2 can finally take off. Gilles conjures up Leary's spi…
2023 Repress **Remastered from the original master tapes, 180 gram reissue of the original vinyl release with gatefold cover** 1973s brilliant Celestial Ocean, by the legendary Swiss krautrock band Brainticket, is a concept album that details an ancient pharoahs journey into the afterlife (substitute the word "journey" for "trip" and youll get what they were driving at). However, Brainticket were not mere products of their time, they explored some truly compelling musical territory and produced …
Can, live from Soest, Rockpalast, Germany in November 1970. This remarkable set is the earliest full concert recording of the mighty Can. Performed in November 1970 for broadcast on the WDR TV show Karussell für die Jugend (‘Youth Carousel) in Soest, 80 miles north of their base in Cologne, it features vocalist Damo Suzuki (who’d replaced Malcolm Mooney in May), alongside Michael Karoli (guitar), Irmin Schmidt (keyboards), Holger Czukay (bass) and Jaki Liebezeit (drums), and is presented here wi…
Grey-area reissue of this classic, as well as a lauded and misunderstood Krautrock album, German Oak's Down in the Bunker. The release has been fetishized and demonized, lauded and misunderstood for nearly four decades. In this definitive reissue of the album, the German Oak trio -- together again after 30 years apart -- have approved the remastering of their 70s music; finally tell the story behind the creation of their dark, brooding album -- and the occult-obsessed record collector behind the…
Live concert by Manuel Gottsching and Klaus Schulze at the Royal Festival Hall.Ash Ra Tempel, pioneering veterans of the "Berlin School", became known worldwide with their LPs / publications in the years 1971-1973. On the debut album of the same name from 1971 in the formation of Hartmut Enke (bass), Manuel Göttsching (guitar), Klaus Schulze (drums), Ash Ra Tempel radically deconstructed elements of rock and blues and combined them with electronic sounds to create novel sound collages. Göttschin…
"Where is space? Is it in our brain? Or is it outside the planet Earth? Dhidalah poetically answers the question with their newest album Sensoria. (Soma, Black Shrine) Two songs are made from their weekly jam session in Tokyo. The band leader, Gotoh usually records the session and shares it with (Masahito aka Bin and Ikuma) the other two members. After listening to the jam recording, they each get inspired by the flow of sounds and find a connection to the outside world. In the following week an…

*300 copies limited edition. In process of stocking* Cybotron was one of the first, if not the first, electronic rock bands in Australia. Cybotron released their self- titled debut in 1976. The group draws heavily on synthesisers (as would be expected), electronic and acoustic percussion, plus saxophone and played minimalist, repetitive progressive-style electronica in a style that emulated the direction of the 1970's German cosmic sounds.
Cluster was the pioneering German duo of Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius. Formed on the cusp of the 1970s, they were a part of West Germany's nascent Kosmische Musik scene. The group would use restrained improvisational techniques similar to Gruppo Nuova Consonanza, working with both electric and acoustic instruments (organ, guitar, tone generators, cello, etc.) to create a singular sound that Julian Cope called "a huge beating heart, planet-sized and awesome."
Following the release of…

*2023 stock* "Four Letter Monday' was the third album by Out Of Focus and in sharp contrast to their previous two, expanded to an 11-piece group, adding an extra guitarist as well as a full brass section. This double album features the 2 side long epic track Huchen 55 (parts a, b and c) which is an amazing track and worth the admission alone. The rest of the album plays out covering quite a range (at times I hear early Chicago and sounds of Blood, Sweat & Tears). This wild album really hits all …
*2023 stock* "With an unchanged line-up, OOF progressed immensely from their psyched-out prog rock by adding a jazz dimension that will make itself present through Moran's newly developed sax playing. This added dimension will give OOF such a wider spectrum that their excellent debut album will be dwarfed by this monster follow-up. Strangely enough their jazzy impulses show in the Tull (This Was) or TYA (Ten Years After) mode, rather than a complete jazz-rock ala Mahavishnu or brassy rock ala C…
