Balázs Pándi

Balázs Pándi is a Hungarian drummer who moves between noise, extreme metal, breakcore and free jazz. He is best known for his long partnership with Merzbow, with whom he has played live since 2009. He has also worked as a journalist for Hungarian news sites. Pándi has played with Venetian Snares, Otto von Schirach, To Live and Shave in L.A., The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble and Zu. With Merzbow and Mats Gustafsson he recorded Cuts (RareNoise, 2013), and Thurston Moore joined them on Cuts of Guilt, Cuts Deeper (2015).
