Armaghedon
2014 repress, originally released in 2000. Private LP edition of 300 copies in 1984. This record is the soundtrack to a film with the same title, produced and directed by Maurizio Bianchi. For obscure reasons, the original LP remained unavailable for a long time, and was distributed only one year after it was printed. Moreover, most of the copies were destroyed. Less than 100 actually exist. This was M.B.'s last vinyl production, and also the only one featuring recordings of the artist's…

Nommos
Temporary Super Offer! CD edition (mastered from the analog tapes). First appearing incongruously on John Fahey's Takoma label in 1981, Nommos remains enshrouded in impenetrable mystery – from its understated artwork to the rich assemblage of analog synths contained inside. According to Head Heritage, Nommos is the "missing link between the proto-industrial rhythm and drone of Suicide and the whole minimalist drone / static / repetition method of Terry Riley and La Monte Young." Best known as a …
Saturae
*In process of stocking* Second Sleep presents an 8xtape box collection by Elisha Morningstar, a project by Francesco Tignola (Joy de vivre, Drug Age).Elisha Morningstar produces abstract sound pieces through manipulation of different kind of sources. Tape loops, concrete parts, harsh noise .. if the elements of this release have been widely developed in a myriad of outputs, what makes this one unique is the way in which these elements are used to tell a story, has in fact a unique approach and …
For You The Old Women
Unless we all live in an infinitely looping time bubble, it is quite cumbersome to explain how Mirthrandir’ s album For You The Old Women was originally released in 1976, rather than appearing for the first time in the ‘happening’ of the ‘now-sounds’. A much sought after artefact among savvy prog collectors, and not at all coincidentally, For You The Old Women sits comfortably among the top 10 most inventive and omni dexterous US prog bands, alongside Cathedral, Yezda Urfa, Happy the Man, Lift, …
Ends With The Sea
Temporary Super Offer! B.C. Gilbert/G. Lewis have always juggled darkness and light in their various collaborations (Dome, Cupol, etc.); Gilbert's pointillist melodicism counterbalanced by Lewis' menacing bass and sardonic lyrics. While the duo explores cinematic soundscapes on their album 3R4, here they return to more song-based territory with icy vocals, detached guitar lines and even a faint industrial vibe. “Ends With The Sea” provides a vital glimpse into the creative forces that even a ban…
Zuckerzeit
Cluster was the pioneering German duo of Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius. Formed on the cusp of the 1970s, they were a part of West Germany's nascent Kosmische Musik scene. The group would use restrained improvisational techniques similar to Gruppo Nuova Consonanza, working with both electric and acoustic instruments (organ, guitar, tone generators, cello, etc.) to create a singular sound that Julian Cope called "a huge beating heart, planet-sized and awesome." Following the release of…
Altena 1970
"Still with their black singer James Rhodes. A concert from spring 1970 in the lovely town of Altena. The cover shows sax player Tim Belbe in Charles Manson style. Good quality."
Bremen 1974
This album contains three instrumental jazz rock jams recorded by Radio Bremen in September 1974 shortly after the band had produced the second LP. Keyboarder Dieter Miekautsch had left the band towards Embryo and Eddy Maron, also known from contributions for Vita Nova and Dzyan, brings new aspects to the music - it's quite a new impression of the band. The sound quality leaves nothing to be desired by the way. A very good show documenting a new facet of the Missus Beastly band and a highlight f…
Spaceguerilla
Instrumental jazz-rock, recorded perfectly in the Stuttgart sound studio Zuckerfabrik in April 1978. Its style resembles that of its predecessor, 'Dr. Aftershave And The Mixed Pickles', but with distinctive jazz-rock/Embryo alike touch. 'Space Guerilla' (originally out on Schneeball) was the fourth and last LP by Missus Beastly. All of the eight tracks were written by the band members themselves. The 24-page booklet in LP size contains a detailed band history in German and in English language, a…
Night Works
"This disc offers the only known recording of the first version of Gila, a group that gigged constantly to build a considerable reputation as a formidable live act. Taken from a live Cologne radio broadcast from February 26, 1972 (a few months before the group's demise), Night Works is all that one could hope for, long space rock acid jamming and much better fidelity than one would get from a recording by an audience member. Swirling organ tones and acid guitar burnouts surge out of the throbbin…
Smile Before Death
*Edition of 500* 1972 Roberto Pregadio's "Il sorriso della Jena"killer score for a psychological movie with sexy infections that will prove to be a good choice for your listening experience, this is the ultimate slinky Italian soundtrack, featuring a captivating blend of haunting melodies and unconventional sounds that are guaranteed to bring endless delight! Keyboards and woodwinds create a captivating sense of space, reminiscent of the music of Ennio Morricone. A perfect balance between lightn…
Arabian Nights
Quartet Records, in collaboration with EMI Music Publishing and GDM, celebrates the centenary of iconic filmmaker, author, poet and intellectual Pier Paolo Pasolini with this remastered reissue of Ennio Morricone cult score for Arabian Nights (1974).  Rounding out the director’s trilogy of classic short story adaptations (started by Decameron and Canterbury Tales), Arabian Nights was based upon stories from 1001 Nights. Pasolini shot on authentic Middle Eastern and Himalayan locations in a stunn…
Uccidete il Vitello Grasso e Arrostitelo
Genius soundtrack work from Ennio Morricone, a psych-baroque journey with typical beat arrangements, crazy organs solos, wah-wah guitars and tense harpsichord phrases
Children of the Stones
Touted by the label as the scariest, most inappropriate and possibly most influential kids TV music of all time, Sidney Sager and The Ambrosian Singers’ ‘Children of the Stones’ really is a terrifying anomaly collecting polyphonic vocal drone and “wordless wails” you’d sooner associate with the darkest Italian library records than anything made for children’s television. It’s a real fucking find this one - highly recommended if yr into anything from Delia x Daphne to Demdike.
Bremen 1972
Superb live recordings of a heavily underrated early '70s band from Germany, playing a sophisticated style of progressive krautedelic jazz-rock, mostly instrumental. Eiliff's guitarist (and sitar playr) Houschäng Nejadpour would later become part of an embryonic line-up of Kraftwerk.

Il Serpente
Super Tip! “Il Serpente” (Night Flight from Moscow) is a 1973 spy and thriller film directed by Henri Verneuil, starring among others Yul Brinner, Henry Fonda and Philippe Noiret. It’s one of the French director’s six movies that feature a soundtrack composed by Ennio Morricone, who here managed to describe the thrilling atmosphere of this high-voltage espionage, alternating dramatic and mysterious passages ("Assassinio sul Lago", "Il Serpente") and experimental ones ("Astrazione con Ritmo", "Es…
La Stagione dei Sensi
* 180gr clear transparent vinyl * "La stagione dei sensi" (also known as "Season of the senses") is a 1969 film directed by Massimo Franciosa, perfect son its time: a pop-coloured cauldron, - whose screenplay had also been written by Dario Argento - which mixes mystery, sensuality, eroticism and morbid atmospheres in an exotic and fascinating context, inside of a castle on an island in the middle of the sea.  Ennio Morricone's soundtrack is very varied and, in some ways, atypical; in fact, there…
