Peace For Animals
*Limited edition of 300 copies.* Music by Masami Akita. Recorded and mixed at Bedroom in Tokyo, August 2007. Originally this album was released by Quasi Pop Records in 2007 in Ukraine. Full of ice-breaking analogue feedbacks over dense overdrived textures, some beasty, pulsing rhythmic elements on the background and rollercoaster's LFO spazmes of analogue synth. This is the bright example of modern "post-analogue-post-laptop era" sound of Merzbow: these compositions are wild at heart as the wild…

October Language
*2022 repress, 3 digital bonus tracks, incl. download.* "October Language" is the debut album by New Orleans based duo Belong, comprised of Turk Dietrich and Mike Jones. Since it's release in early 2006, Belongs debut masterpiece has accumulated a dedicated cult following, with comparisons to the work of Christian Fennesz and Gas, with some claims that it plays like My Bloody Valentine's "Loveless" sans the songs. While these comparisons are useful for filing this album into a particular bin in …
Hidden Island Music (untitled #398)
Francisco López offers a brand new field recording composition based on the recordings he did in the island of Tenerife whilst visiting for a performance at the Keroxen Festival, 2020. Internationally recognized as one of the major figures of the sound art and experimental music scene, Francisco has an ear-like gift to point his microphones (and our ears) to the most special and unlikely of sound sources. For almost forty years he has developed an astonishing sonic universe, absolutely personal …
Geometría Prohibida
*Limited edition of 200 copies.* Melancholic energy blast from Gran Canaria’s cult trio, MINIATURa, helmed by Eduardo Briganty. As with their first release, Bamako, each member has contributed compositions to the new recording which also features two collective improvisations. The album combines tracks based on gutbucket rhythms with others full of exploratory abstractions. The album title, Ode To O, refers to Ornette Coleman and …

P.O.X. Sound
*Limited edition of 500 copies.* Sonor Music Editions team was able to rescue from oblivion the lost tapes of this incredible recording, composed and orchestrated by the great Italian arranger and pianist Paolo Ormi. Originally conceived in 1972 at RCA studios in Rome, the album has been never officially released on any commercial/physical format until now. A promo Stereo-8 was only issued at the time on a ridiculous run, and only distributed for non-commercial purposes among the TV circuits. "P…
Música Azul
*Limited edition of 150 copies.* Música Azul is a gulfstream of melodies originally written for Spencer Clark’s Avatar Blue exposition at Het Bos in Antwerp, march 2019. I got the original melody lines from a photoshop mock-up in which Spencer showed his ideas for the expo. I then performed the piece - partly improvised - on the opening night as to activate the several artworks that were displayed in the installation. Afterwards I edited and reworked the composition for optimal home listening.
Riding Fences

Sage: “I have always found the idea of whatever "Western" means in America to be very elusive. It feels like a fantasy that we keep trying to relive by retelling exaggerated stories. An echo of an echo of an echo...” Martens: “In Belgium, "Western" entered the minds through movies, television series, theme parks, magazines. (…) the o…

The Enlightening Beam Of Axonda
*2022 Stock.* Not to be confused with the famous R'n'B star of the same name, Bobby Brown became known to the public for his bizarre self built percussion set which he played with hands and feet creating a very unusual and peculiar rhythm carpet, not to mention his odd vocal style which added to his intriguing musical choice a touch of captivating madness. Although not electronic, his musical take will be particularly enjoyable for who listened to experimental musicians such as Silver Apples, Un…

This double LP release features one of Miles Davis final great bands: John Scofield on guitar, Bill The Other Bill Evans Evans on saxophones, flute and electric piano, Darryl Jones on bass, Al Foster on drums, and percussionist Mino Cinelu. Miles was back in amazing form (incandescent and iridescent as ever, critic Greg Tate noted), when he mounted the stage at the Theatre St-Denis during the Festival International De Jazz De Montreal in July 1983, and this revelatory performance has been loving…

The Complete LHI Recordings
*2022 Stock.* Lee Hazlewood’s LHI label only put out interesting albums. Yet despite the psychedelic cowboy's success with Nancy Sinatra and more, being on Lee Hazlewood Industries was no fast-track to success. Gorgeous and talented Detroit, Michigan girl group Honey Ltd had all the makings of a hit band, yet they disappeared after releasing just one album in 1968, a vinyl rarity that now regularly fetches upwards of $2,000. Light In The Attic Records is now looking to set the record straight. H…
