Third instalment of the Victor series, with Youichi Suzuki and Latin Companion taking over some of the duties from the Matsumoto and Matsuura bands. The Latin Companion name is not decorative: the arrangements lean toward bolero and slow cha-cha, which gives the tenor a different floor to stand on, congas and claves under the echo rather than brushes.
The Japanese mood industry's habit of numbering its anthologies means these can be collected as a set, and the differences between volumes are real; this one is warmer and more rhythmic than the first. Victor gatefold, Japanese pressing.
