Audible sounds are divided into three levels: in the first you can hear the sound of thunder, or a waterfall, or ocean waves; in the second the sound of a drum or a bell; in the third of a small bell, or a flute or even the buzzing of a bee. The yogi must overcome these levels by using those sounds to stop the wandering of his consciousness, similar to a snake that is immobilized by listening to appropriate music. When he no longer hears any sound, then he will have achieved liberation".
