2015 release (RARE) ** 8-page catalogue and CD in 150 copies, hand-numbered and signed by the artist. Habitat Dislocata is an installation in which the sound elements that compose it are diffused throughout the space through different speakers, the number and characteristics of which are chosen according to the location. Habitat Dislocata is a sonic dimension in which a portion can be activated by the audience, who, in addition to listening while seated, is invited to explore the environment. The catalog/CD by Angelo Petronella, produced for the occasion by WundeKammer, is available.
After studying percussion and piano, Angelo Petronella attended the Electronic Music course at the Perugia Conservatory and, in Milan, earned a degree in Music Computer Science. His work has been characterized by the creation of sounds and the experimentation of their relationship in compositional practice. He has created installations, both interactive and non-interactive, with a focus on the relationship between sound and space and the way in which they are experienced. His compositions, which he usually performed with a multi-channel system and different speakers, have in recent years also been designed to be installed and constitute an acoustic space to be explored.
