Three releases by the early 2000s King Crimson of Robert Fripp, Adrian Belew, Trey Gunn and Pat Mastelotto, collected on three discs.
Level Five, issued in 2001 as a tour EP, presented live recordings of new pieces such as the title track, Virtuous Circle and Dangerous Curves, which the band was testing on stage before taking them into the studio. Happy With What You Have to Be Happy With, the 2002 EP, was the direct preview of The Power to Believe: short fragments, the haiku-like Mie Gakure and ShoGaNai, the blues parody Potato Pie, an acoustic Eyes Wide Open and a live Larks' Tongues in Aspic Part IV.
EleKtriK documents the band in Japan in 2003 on the tour that followed The Power to Believe, the last live recordings of this line-up, with the new repertoire at full strength alongside Level Five and Larks' Tongues in Aspic Part IV.
