The soundtrack features the iconic song “We’ll Keep Trying,” performed by Lydia McDonald, and showcases the talents of collaborators like I Marc 4, Edda Dell’Orso, and Alessandro Alessandroni. For decades, only selections from the score were available: a 10-track LP by RCA at the film’s release, a CD compilation in the 1990s, and a limited expanded edition in Japan. This definitive release, produced by Claudio Fuiano and restored by Chris Malone, finally presents the complete score, including previously unreleased cues that further illuminate Trovajoli’s mastery. The accompanying booklet features an in-depth essay by Miguel Ángel Ordóñez, exploring the film’s context, the music’s role, and the creative synergy between Trovajoli and Scola.
