See all* New reissue remastered with renewed cover, contains insert with Jacula and Antonius Rex bio, black inner sleeve* The origins of Jacula dated 1966 when young Antonio Bartoccetti landed in Milan. the band members met and composed this album (working title "Volume Zero") through actual seances with the medium Franz Parthenzy. in 1968 Bartoccetti met Doris Norton who would become a precious collaborator, keyboardist, and vocalist, as well as the older organist Charles Tiring, who possessed some real experience on the vintage organs that they wanted. Only about 300 copies were pressed in the original run and they were not sold in record stores-instead it is said they were given away to folks with an interest in the esoteric. In Cauda Semper Stat Venenum has been now restored and cleaned up. The remixing done to this Jacula album astounding results. Male spoken word vocals narrate the proceedings with great drama on occasion. Doris Norton has an ethereal wordless vocals over introspective, beautiful piano and deep heartbeat drum mark the time for a real symphony of horror, fantastic. Completely atmospheric, deep, and dark. That's the key of the Jacula sound... It's so original, don't miss it! LP renewed layout, remastered audio
