Atrax Morgue is the brainchild of Marco Corbelli as sound project focused in various areas related to the field of psychopathology: murder, violent death, sadism, necrophilia, schizophrenia and insanity. The main influences come from projects as Whitehouse and BDN, pioneers of a minimal, evil and visceral electronic; and from the project the Sodality led by Andrea Cernotto. ‘'In search of death'' is the first tape coming out for the fledgling label Slaughter Productions (the label created by Marco), recorded in July 1993. It is a work from the sounds obsessive, with the use of very low frequencies, synthetic and disturbing. The psychopathological sound is white, painful and horrific; creates a mental alteration that initiates brutal operation of psychic surgery, neuroses and split personality. Tracks remastered from the original tape and the record has been pressed on 140 gr black vinyl with black label and black inner sleeve and comes in a deluxe silver silkscreen on black cardboard sleeve, limited to 99 copies w/insert in luxury 160 gr ivory paper.
