Missus Beastly regroups and blasts into some very dynamic fusion territory with this exceptional album. The usual apparitions of the house-hold names of the mid-seventies jazz apologists can be traced here, but the eventual output will always sound only as original as Missus Beastly. One of the biggest strengths these guys possesed was their vibrant rhytm section, from the opening track i can make a parallel to Passport's or Embryo's more dynamic tracks, wherein Curt Cress/ Christian Burchard went absolutely berserk. The energetic drum lines and the slightly funky, heavy bass-lines are the undercurrent for the dual saxophonic eruption that rains lava all over these highly vibrant compositions - Klaus Doldinger you better watch out, these players know their winds!

If you thought fusion is a relatively cold experience then this album here is to prove you wrong - the degrees are as high as in a spacey volcanic crater blasting into the vaccuum of time. A highly recommended album for people who are already familiar with something neutral like Passport or know their way around more complex fusion landscapes, but desire some energetic emotional intimacy.
