Mat Handley returns to his South Yorkshire inspired Pulselovers project with a bold new chapter in the acclaimed Northern Minimalism series. What began as a deeply personal tribute to the region’s industrial, post-punk and synth-pop legacies has now evolved into a sprawling, 20-track remix project released via Castles in Space's new CD imprint, Lunar Module.

The double CD includes remixes from a stellar cast of electronic artists: Aural Design, Apta, Pefkin, Grey Frequency/Blue Room, Sulk Rooms, Polyhymns, Language Field, Lo Five, Fred Und Luna, Field Lines Cartographer, WRNTDP, The Heartwood Institute, DJ 2MN (Kl(aüs)), Panamint Manse, Revbjelde, Polypores, Doomlode and Lone Bison. 

These reinterpretations span dark ambient, haunted synth-pop, minimal techno, kosmische and beyond—yet each remix holds onto the distinctive, coal-dusted core of SoYo’s electronic heritage.
